Sales & Marketing

I grew up around Spex — washing parts, engraving, and wrapping skids after school. When you're the owner's son, you end up learning the business whether you mean to or not. By the time I graduated high school, I had a pretty good feel for what we do and how the shop runs day to day.

After graduation, I enlisted in the Marine Corps as an armorer, where I was responsible for maintaining and repairing small weapons systems. Four years of making sure every component meets spec and every procedure is followed exactly. I completed my service in 2017.

I came back to Spex in 2022 to help with our website, sales, and marketing. My job is to make it easier for buyers and engineers to find us, understand what we can do, and get what they need. Whether that's a quote on a new part, information about our capabilities, or content that helps people understand different materials and machining processes.

I've been on the shop floor and I've been on the phone with customers. That combination helps me bridge the gap between what our machinists are capable of and what our customers need. I know what questions buyers tend to have because I've heard them, and I know what we can deliver because I've watched it happen since 2009.

When I'm not at Spex, I'm probably at the gym or detailing cars.
